THE QUAD INITIATIVE
Empowering organizations with transformational and aligned
learning solutions
Drawing on a deep and dynamic pool of organizational, educational, behavioral, and leadership expertise and processes, The Quad Initiative leverages design thinking to co-create individually tailored, inventive strategies and solutions across a wide variety of global sectors.
Our partnerships range from working with innovative start-ups to multinational businesses, from universities to government agencies, including public and private endeavors.
We add value deliverables, that transform the way organizations approach challenges and opportunities to foster new mindset and skill-sets that are transferable across the organization.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach begins and ends with you.
We creatively and collaboratively generate human-centered solutions to organizational challenges that are:
Desirable: aligned with mission, vision and values
Feasible: aligned with technical capacity and expertise
Viable: aligned with value propositions to catalyze ongoing success.
We harness cross-over expertise from a diverse set of disciplines and contexts.
We honor the institutional knowledge and capacity of our partners in our approach - an approach that empowers organizations to more fully realize your mission and continuously meet your goals.
We Engage Partners through Three Critical Stages of Success:

Applied Innovation
We created a proprietary, multi-phase, deep-dive process, called REM3, to identify:
-
Bridge Opportunities
-
Symbiotic Connections
-
Grounded Tolerances
-
Hidden/ Redundant Obstacles
-
Competing Commitments
-
Critical Pathways
-
Timelines for Success
-
Success and Progress Metrics
We illuminate possibilities to draw upon in order to create innovative responses that will be customized to optimize your current and future needs.

Organizational
Knowledge
Every organization has a vast repository of knowledge that can assist or inhibit growth and momentum. The absence of smooth access to that knowledge can create:
-
Benign Historicals
-
Hidden Incentive Levers
-
Redundant Organizational Topographies
-
Non-optimized Personnel, Policies and Practices.
We work with partners to identify and enact pockets of hidden knowledge and bring it to the forefront of the design process as sources of insight and opportunity.

Learning
Systems
People are the greatest catalysts for cultivating innovation and ensuring sustainable progress. Our process promotes the development of individual and team trajectories by leveraging an array of assets:
-
Leadership Legacies
-
Horizon Planning
-
Threshold Policies
-
Accountable Aspirations
-
Efficiencies of Scale
-
Sustainability Indices
-
Individual, Team and Platform Growth Models
We engage individuals and teams in order to match the growth potential within the system to the mission, priorities, and goals for organizational success.

The Quad Initiative Logo: Our commitment is reflected in our team, our individualized processes, our deliverables and our client satisfaction. In fact, the Quad Initiative traces its name and logo back to the foundational relationship that developed between our founding partners at Vanderbilt University. Many of the conversations, derivative ideas, and solution sets occurred while walking the Vanderbilt quad.
That process continues to drive us through open-minded engagement, rigorous problem solving, personal respect and trust reflected in our logo:
-
The white border: We circumnavigate the problem fully.
-
The intersection: We converge and interact with pertinent experts, data and historicals.
-
The green block arrows: We focus on and solve the central issue.
